Whether you love him or hate him you have to respect the career of Allen Iverson. It was reported today by Stephen A. Smith on Sportscenter that Iverson has announced his retirement from the NBA in the video below. In 13 seasons Iverson had a Hall of Fame worthy career including 1 MVP (2001), 4 scoring titles, and a 10 time NBA All-Star. Iverson will go down as one of the, if not the best small men to every play in the NBA. He had amazing talent, but it was his attitude and his off the court issues that turned so many teams away from giving Iverson another chance. This season he played in only 3 games with the Memphis Grizzlies after leaving the team for "personal reasons" on November 7th.
