The whole gang's here

Someone get the cast of Law&Order: SVU to Gilette Stadium stat! I think there was a horrifically violent crime committed around the hour of 4 pm Sunday. The victims are would like to remain nameless, so we won't mention the New York Jets name. Let me re-state that. WE WILL NOT MENTION THE NEW YORK JETS NAME. The police have narrowed down their suspects to the nine men pictured above. These nine men are highly skilled in their crafts and go by the alias, "The Brady Bunch". They are believed to be offensive and very defensive. FBI detectives believe they are currently headed to Louisiana.

I saw that on John Walsh's list of important things to follow-up on. I just had to throw it up for all the fans of the Improp can be warned and on the look-out. Because it was a down-right crime what the Patriots did to the Juts. Everyone chipped in from Welker's remarkable 15-catch game, to Julian Edelman's huge first down play, to Randy Moss going over the middle on the majority of his catches. And I didn't even get to mention the defense! Shout-out to Leigh Bodden and Tully Banta-Cain with making the big plays on D!

The Patriots lived up to their reputation as the highest scoring first-half team in the league by jumping to a 24-7 lead. It's a bit of a back-handed compliment to be the best first-half scoring team. I'd like to see them be the best second-half team but I'll take it. Laurence Maroney is quietly putting together a very nice season. After a rocky start, Maroney has 189 yards averaging 3.4 yards a carry in his last three games. Now that may not look pretty but his four touchdowns sure do. And in a Patriot offense that relies on spreading the ball around, Maroney has certainly tried to make the most out of his touches.

Normally this is the part of the piece that I devote to bashing the Juts. But to be perfectly honest, they bore me. It's too easy. Everything that I was thinking about saying, I've already said before. They are a joke of a franchise. Simple as that.

Now back to a team that matters...the Patriots rebounded in perfect fashion. Now they have to get ready for Super Bowl XLIII 1/2 against the Saints. I've officially coined the phrase "Super Bowl XLIII 1/2". If you hear anyone saying that, you heard it first here. AT THE IMPROP!
