If you didn't happen to catch the beat down that was handed out Sunday by the Patriots, you didn't miss much. The Jets came out flat from the beginning and didn't have many answers stopping the Pats offensive. Before you knew it, the score was 21-0 and all but over in the first half. The Jets looked tired, sluggish, and rundown to the point I couldn't even watch most of the second half. (Mostly cause I was sleeping off my hangover from a tough night Saturday) You ask the question, what could possibly have caused the Jets to come out so flat in such a big game? Hmmm... Could it be the fact that they were awakened in the middle of the night when their team hotels fire alarm was pulled? You got it!
In the middle of the night someone pulled the hotel alarm and as TE Dustin Keller tweeted, "So much for a good nights sleep..the alarm just went off in our teams hotel hahaha grown men walking around the hallway in their draws haha"
Kerry Rhodes put if perfectly when he tweeted, "you know we are playing new england when in the middle of the night when u r sleep somebody pulls a fire alarm to wake u up!! wow!!"
Wow is right. And I'm not for a second going to put it past someone on the Patriots being behind a dirtbag move like this. Beliscum probably paid someone to go over to the Jets hotel and pull the alarm. Now I know what your going to say, I'm crazy there's no way the Patriots would have anything to do with that. You don't think so? Then tell me, why in the same hotel earlier this season in week 1, when the Bills were in Foxboro, the exact same thing happened to them? Not once but multiple times!
The Patriots have been linked to cheating and little stunts like this for years now. How can you even support a team that has to pull fire alarms in the middle of the night to get an advantage. Its a disgrace. I'll even give the Pats the benefit of the doubt and say they didn't have anything to do with it. That just shows what classy fans you have that they would do something like this. Can't win on a level playing ground, might as well cheat. They say that security was very tight and they doubt someone could have done this maybe it was a malfunction. My ass, I'm sure security knows its going to happen and they let whoever it is just go ahead and do it. I mean come on this is a hotel where an NFL team is staying, you don't have cameras and security to prevent this from happening? More than once! It makes me sick the whole organization is a joke and a bunch of cheaters. Stay classy Massholes.

ERRONEOUS! You think it was really someone from the Patriots who pulled the alarm? Are you kidding me? Stuff like that happens in sports perdiod. Not just in Boston. I remember hearing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Cedric Maxwell exchanging stories on WEEI about how their fans would find out where the visiting team would be staying and make late night wake-up calls and pulling the fire alarm. That's fandom right there.
