Week in and week out the Jets find a new way to lose. From 3-0 to 4-5, and playoff hopes all but dashed. This 2009 installment of the Jets travel to foxboro this Sunday for one last ditch effort to try and salvage their bleak playoff hopes. Somehow, mostly thanks in part to Belicheck's brain fart Sunday night the Jets still have a puncher's chance at the AFC east crown.
This Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars was one to forget. Its started with MJD bulldozing through the Jets D on the first drive of the game, and essentially ended with a knee by MJD on the last drive of the game.
In between Mark Sanchez once again appeared to wanna have a catch with the other teams defense, and Braylon Edwards failed to get open enough.
What's most frustrating about the Jets is that they actually have been in every single game they've played this year. But alas, you don't go to the playoffs for merely competing...You actually need to WIN!!!
Do I like the Jets chances this Sunday...Well like their playoff's hopes I think they have a puncher's chance. They need to wear down the Pats D with a solid ground effort, and Edwards need to find a way to get open more...
