It's about time...

In a statement released to the associated press this afternoon, Mark Mcgwire has finaly admitted to using steroids and other performance enhancing drugs. Thank god we can all get that doubt out of our minds cause it would have eaten me alive forever. Well, not really, this isnt even that major of a story cause anyone in their right minds should have known that this guy was on the sauce. It was clearly going to come out sooner or later once we learned he was going to be taking the job as the hitting coach for the Cards. He admits that he had been taking PED's on and off for about a decade, including his record breaking 98 season. It's unfortunate to know the truth but like I said, this cant come as a shock to anyone. A press conference should be the next step and then the Cards hope to put this all behind them and gear up for spring training without this distraction in their way.
