TMZ.com is now reporting that a "law enforcement source" has told the gossip website that Casey Johnson had been dead for several days before her body was discovered early this morning in Los Angeles. According to the same source the LAPD has officially opened up a death investigation.
This news only further solidifies the speculation that Johnson's death was drug related. As The Empire reported earlier, Johnson was apparently engaged to Tila Tequila, the two had fought last week, and Tequila had not been able to contact Johnson since the 28th because Johnson's phone was off. This news makes one think that the fight the two had last week might have put Johnson on a speed balling drug escapade that led to her untimely death.
