NY POST - Casey Johnson, an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune and daughter of Jets owner Woody Johnson, was found dead this morning in Los Angeles, according to published reports.
There was no indication about the cause of death.
In a statement, her family said, "The Johnson family is mourning its tragic loss, and asks for privacy during this very difficult time."
The 30-year-old Johnson has had a tumultuous time recently.
She gained a lot of attention for her relationship with reality star Tila Tequila. The two reportedly were engaged.
Johnson had stayed with Tequila on Dec. 28. But the pair fought and Johnson's phone had been off since the 29th, according to TMZ.com.
Pretty terrible news for Jets owner Woody Johnson especially coming less than 24 hours removed from watching your team play themselves into the playoffs. Yes, Casey was known for being a complete mess especially as of late. The last straw has to be that she was engaged to Tila Tequila? Seriously can this bitch get a life, shes a complete nobody. You got some fame from the internet, who cares you had a TV show they give anything thats been on TV and a half beating pulse their own show these days. Shes always linked to some sort of drama.
