Jets getting "flexed" in...

Ok,lemme see if I have this correct--The Jets control their own destiny to make the playoffs????? HOW???? Does any AFC team actually wanna step up and claim the two wild card spots??? The Jets needed five games(including their own against the Colts) to go their way to be in this position, and some how all them paned out. Granted the Colts laid down for the Jets, and If I was a Colts player or fan I would be infuriated, but it happened and now the Jets will face the Bengals on Sunday in a win and your in game. NBC has opted to use their "flex" power, and move the game from a 1 o'clock start to a 8:20 Sunday Night Football kickoff. The Bengals are in the playoffs, the only thing a win against the Jets could do is potentially move them up to the 3 seed, which in actuality means very little. The Jets could be facing another team who is willing to lay down and allow the Jets to beat them. But alas this is the New York Jets after all, and if any team can blow it--its the Jets.

Ill admit it, I gave up on the Jets...But so did plenty of fans and other writers. Any Jets fan know the pain and torture I go through for 17+ plus weeks throughout the fall and early winter. If you consider how much of a roller coaster the NFL season is, its ironic that football fans fill themselves up with so much garbage on Sundays in the way of beer and fried food--The games are enough to give one a heart attack, the blood pressure doesn't need any more help. With that said...I cant wait to down a case of brew, and several dozen wings on Sunday. J-E-T-S...JETS JETS JETS!!!
