Pettitte decides he wants to come back

It was reported today by ESPN's Buster Olney that Veteran Left-Hander Andy Pettitte has decided he wants to return and pitch in the 2010 season. As of right now Pettitte has said he would prefer to pitch for the Yankees as they try to repeat in 2010.

This is great news as far as I'm concerned. We need to keep a vet like Andy on the staff to help develop the younger guys and as well as his leadership. Not to mention, he went 4-0 in the playoffs for us this year, starting the series clinching games in both the ALCS and the World Series. He has proven himself to be a big game pitcher throughout his whole career especially in the playoffs. He holds the record for most career post season wins with 18, and has been an integral part of the last 5 Yankees World Series Championships.

Andy, your always welcome in New York in my book and I'm sure almost all Yankee fans would have to agree with me.
