Saints lose and crush Giants hopes

Did anyone really think that the New Orleans Saints were really going to run the table at 19-0 and win the Superbowl? Yes, their offense is prolific but that secondary is in shambles and any team with a semi-conscious QB, yes, even down syndrome Tony Homo can dismantle it. As much as I would love a team to shut up that piece of shit Mercury Morris, the Saints were not going undefeated this season no matter how you look at it. This is a Saints team that hasn't had a winning season in god knows how long. Saints, I don't care that you lost, but did you really had to do it to the Cowboys? They have built their franchise around losing in December.

Unfortunately I have to admit this is a crushing blow to the Giants playoff hopes. It’s as simple as this, Giants have to win out and we need a lot of help from the 'Boys Eagles and Packers. We have the tiebreak from beating Dallas twice this season but we lost twice to the Eagles. Even if the Cowboys lose in week 17 to Philly, the Eagles are sitting at 9-4 right now and we would need them to lose out to get the wild card spot. Likewise, we need the Packers to lose out as well depending on what they conference records are when the season ends barring a tie. It’s a stretch to say the least. The G-men have the Skins on MNF, Carolina, and then a tough game against the Vikings but that depends on whether or not they play their starters. Favre is 82 years old so I hope they decide to give him a rest before the playoffs. Either way, the Giants shot themselves in the foot when they decided to take off the end of Oct. and early Nov.

As far as a perfect season is concerned, I really do hope the Colts run the table now. Anything to shut up the 72 Dolphins team and that moron Mercury Morris.

I truly hate that man. Please Colts shut him up.
