Someone please call the police, there was a brutal rape that took place tonight at, 1500 Podyras Street New Orleans, LA 70112. Yes Pats fans we do our homework here at the Improp that's the address of the Superdome, and there is nothing more sweet for me than to be able to report on how badly your beloved Pats got murdered tonight. You couldn't have even made it a game for us viewers? I know what your going to say... "they" lost the game, as in the Patriots lost the game, but whenever they win, your the quickest fans to start running your damn mouths on how, "WE" won the game! Like your the ones calling goddamn plays or something.
Drew Brees picked apart the New England secondary every opportunity he got. He became only the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for 5 TD's 350+ yards and have a completion percentage greater than 75%. He mixed in 1 of those touchdown throws to Hofstra great Marques Colston who had a game high 121 yards receiving. Brees also became only the 4th QB to throw for 4 touchdowns against a team coached by Bill Belichick. The other 2 being the Manning brothers, Peyton twice.
It was an all around dominating performance by the Saints on both sides of the ball. The Pats had no answer for anything the Saints ran offensively and couldnt get into a rhythm themselves on offense. So much for all the hype coming into this game, the only entertaining part was watching the air show put on by Brees and his receivers. This brings the Pats down to earth a little bit, at 7-4 and only 1-4 away from Foxboro this season, they are lucky the play in the AFC east.
I will commend my partner Wesley on his prediction, you nailed the Saints score right on the head with 38. It's just too bad the Pats scored a little less than your predicted 41. 24 less to be exact. How sweet it is!
